Internal Quality System Training at Huangshi Sait Friction Materials Co., Ltd.

　　On August 27, 2015, Huangshi Saiter Business School organized an internal training session on the company’s ISO/TS 16949 quality management system. The session was led by Chen Hongmei, head of Saiter Company’s Quality Assurance Department.

　　During the training, Minister Chen provided an overview of the company’s quality‑system development journey and explained the content, benefits, and key drivers of the ISO/TS 16949 standard. He placed particular emphasis on the customer‑centric quality policy, underscoring the ultimate goals of “innovation in design, rigor in management; pursuit of excellence, customer satisfaction.” He expressed the expectation that these objectives—raising the delivery rate to 95%, reducing the scrap rate to 3%, lowering the rework rate to 5%, and achieving a customer satisfaction score above 80 points—would be swiftly attained. Finally, Minister Chen demonstrated, using practical examples, the procedures for controlling nonconforming products to supervisors and team leaders, encouraging all participants to strive for continuous improvement and to work together to enhance product quality. He urged everyone to institutionalize management practices and standardize work processes in their daily operations.
