The Third Session of the Seventh Council of the China Friction and Sealing Materials Association concluded successfully in Yinchuan. Our company’s Chairman and General Manager attended the meeting.

Summary: On September 6–7, the third session of the seventh council of the China Friction and Sealing Materials Association was successfully held in Yinchuan. A total of 85 council members attended the meeting. As a vice-chairman unit of the association, our company’s chairman, Wang Sanquan, presided over the session. (Chairman Wang of the company chaired the meeting.) The meeting began with a thorough study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech delivered at the special seminar for principal leading officials at the provincial and ministerial levels. It then reviewed and approved proposals regarding the organizational structure and department heads of the seventh council, as well as the list of members of the second Expert Committee of the China Friction and Sealing Materials Association. Our company’s general manager, Xu Bo, was appointed by the association as a member of the Expert Committee.

　　The meeting commenced with a thorough study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech delivered at the special seminar for principal leading cadres at the provincial and ministerial levels. It then reviewed and approved the proposed organizational structure of the seventh council and the appointment of department heads, as well as the list of members of the second Expert Committee of the China Friction and Sealing Materials Association. Our company’s General Manager, Xu Bo, was appointed to the Expert Committee by the Association.

　　The meeting reviewed and approved the “Implementation Plan for Promoting the Development and Application of Green Friction Sealing Materials” and decided to circulate the “Energy-Saving and Emission-Reduction Targets and Implementation Plan for the Friction Materials Industry (Draft for Discussion)” to all relevant units for further consultation.

　　On September 7, conference delegates visited the “2017 China–Arab States Expo” to gain insights into business development and identify new opportunities.

　　This meeting resolved several key issues for the association, laying a solid foundation for its continued healthy development. Our company also benefited greatly, making the trip well worth it. Over the next few years, Saiter Company will continue to strengthen in four areas: first, energy conservation and emissions reduction; second, environmental protection; third, the integration of industrialization and informatization; and fourth, the comprehensive enhancement of both soft and hard capabilities.
