　　The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China held its closing session at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th in the Great Hall of the People.

　　Xi Jinping presided over the closing session of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. A total of 2,336 delegates and specially invited delegates attended the meeting.

　　The Congress adopted a resolution on the report of the 18th Central Committee.

　　The Congress adopted a resolution on the work report of the 18th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.

　　Following the completion of the vote count, Xi Jinping announced that the 19th Central Committee and the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection had been elected at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The entire venue erupted in warm applause.

　　The Congress adopted a resolution on the “Amendment to the Constitution of the Communist Party of China,” enshrining Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in the Party Constitution.
